USA Network (commonly referred to as USA) is an American cable television channel launched in 1971. Once a minor player in basic cable, the network has steadily gained popularity because of breakout hits like Monk, Psych, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, White Collar, Monday Night RAW, Suits, and reruns of the various Law & Order: Special Victims Unit series and reruns of Law & Order: Criminal Intent. In addition, the network continues to air syndicated reruns of series like Becker, House, NCIS, and Walker, Texas Ranger. The network also broadcasts a variety of films from the Universal Studios library.
